Consequences of not pulling wisdom teeth?

I have one wisdom that is hurting. Last night it hurt so much i couldn%26#039;t really get any sleep for about 6 hours. I don%26#039;t plan on pulling the wisdom tooth out, so what are the consequences? Is the pain going to go away after my 2nd molar dies? And when do these wisdom tooth stop growing?

Consequences of not pulling wisdom teeth?
None of your molars are going to die. I%26#039;d love to know where you heard that! Your wisdoms are probably heard them because they are impacted somehow. You need to get them out before they cause even more problems, like infection and so on. It%26#039;s going to continue to hurt until you get them out. If it hurts that bad, why wouldn%26#039;t you want them out???
Reply:The pain and problems your wisdom teeth are causing you will not go away or get better, they may subside for a while but will eventually get worse. The call of course is completely yours. Just thought you should know, also the longer you wait and the older you get the more difficult it becomes to extract your wisdom teeth, age 17-21 is really ideal. Good luck.
Reply:If you%26#039;re in pain, one of two things could be happening:

1) Your tooth is impacted, growing in wrong, or causing your other teeth to crowd, because there is not enough room in your mouth.

2) Your tooth is infected. If you leave an infected tooth to fester, the infection can go to your brain and you will probably die.

The pain will not go away.

You need to see a dentist.

There may be other options besides pulling your tooth out.

You may be able to just get it repaired.

Just go see a dentist, k?
